  1. Well the restaurant was all dark, but they had take away... got a huge chicken schnitzel sandwich: bread too soft and soggy for me so I took the chicken + veggies out: not bad actually. Cuic !beer to go with that.

      1. @erkanyilmaz I have not learned that yet (I'd have to share a meal with someone for that). But I'm finding I can decipher a lot of (written) Romanian (by comparison with French, my smattering of Spanish and what little I remember of Latin. (mangoes = with -> cu in Romanian; local coin is 'leu' single, 'lei' plural, etc. "Pui" = chicken (which I worked out from 'pollo' in Spanish.) It's fun to see how much I can understand (if not pronounce correctly).

      2. @erkanyilmaz talking about "natives": in Cluj (and other places in Transsylvania) there are a lot of Hungarians, but an old name for Sibiu is Hermannstadt: a lot of people here speak German and you see signs in both Romanian and German, too.
