@techdisk you could use (a Linux live CD with) #chntpw to remove the forgotten password.Remember to back up the registry files to be safe :)

@mcscx Heh... "forgotten"... (It was from an old highschool computer, where we had never been given the actual computer's login XD) But thanks! I'll defenitely look into that. It's better than formatting a perfectly good Windows install...

@techdisk So this is all educational.You can #learn how to deal with lost !windows passwords and maybe learn from how the system is set up:)

@mcscx Yep, educational. The computer the hard drive's from is probably long gone anyway, it's not like the school needed it anymore. Anyway, the chntpw live USB worked perfectly and I got access to the system, but since the system used to be extensively controlled by the schools' network, it's basically useless without their specific connection. Nothing works; I can't even open the all programs list. Probably going to end up formatting the drive. oh well.
