I honestly expected someone to ask why I wanted to set it to mono.

@nerthos Why would you want to set it to mono?
-
@thefunkytortoise Some songs have the horrible trait of having the sound come mostly from one or the other side, and I highly dislike the feeling.
-
@nerthos Beatles?
-
@thefunkytortoise Wouldn't know, I rarely listen to them. Neither my musical taste nor for some of their songs political taste.
-
@nerthos Me neither but I know that their music is vocalised on the right and Bass instrumental on the left
-
@thefunkytortoise Oh, that sounds like the kind of stuff I'd listen to on mono then. Quite an interesting fact really, I wonder why they'd want to do that.
-
@nerthos I don't really know, but I understand why you would set the sound to mono
-
@thefunkytortoise I currently have balance set to -2 (20% to the left) to listen to this song https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=J1EpgabmSFE
-
@nerthos Isn't there a setting in your soundcard to set enable mono?
-
@thefunkytortoise Option's greyed out for some reason.
-
@nerthos Sounds fishy
-
@thefunkytortoise Maybe it's due to using the front plug? I don't really know the cause.
-
@nerthos Try one of your backplugs?
-
@thefunkytortoise Too lazy haha
-
@nerthos Haha, of course
