  1. After playing through Fire Emblem 7 a gazillion times, 8 just seems "meh" in comparison.

    1. @rockymoo Is 7 Sacred Stones?

      1. @nerthos Sacred Stones is 8. 7 was localized as just "Fire Emblem", which gets a little confusing at times.

        1. @rockymoo Oh, right. The first one they translated officially.

          1. @nerthos Eyup. Best in the series IMO.

            1. @rockymoo I should play it. I only played PoR, a bit of Sacred Stones, and about half of Shadow Dragon. I love the franchise though.

              1. I'm a loser, so I've played the translated SNES games too. Not as good as later installments in the series, but still fun to dick around with.

                1. @rockymoo I'm thinking of playing all of them. In order, finish shadow dragon/ play radiant dawn first, then the second DS remake, and then the snes and GBA ones. No idea when I'll play the 3ds one though since I don't have one and I don't intend to buy one.

                  1. @nerthos We're in the same boat there, buddy. Can't really afford to chuck in that much cash for a handheld, not to mention the additional cost for games. Just a heads-up: if you want to play the second DS remake, you'll have to patch it.

                    1. @rockymoo Don't worry, My brother's DS has all the patch stuff for maximum functionality. I also have emulators. I have the cash for a 3DS but I don't consider the cost of console+games to be worth it, not without an r4.

                      1. @nerthos Emulators are my lord and savior right now, since I've been having to pinch my pennies lately like it ain't no one's business.

                        1. @rockymoo I've always been a friend of them, ever since I was a kid and had a MAME and a Genesis emulator, both with loads of games, running on a 233mmx computer.
