        @mcnalu I think Clara is symptomatic of the larger post-2005 problem of compulsory story arcs. Let's just have an unconnected series of jolly adventures, and if you absolutely must tug on heartstrings, kill off an occasional Adric. #

          @mjd that, and also I'd find a less cocky, confident assistant more believable. They did that quite cleverly with Donna, and Tegan.
