        @rarity Thank you. this does disprove that all rap isn't music, but I never held the opinion that all rap isn't music. only that some rap is. "You're all entitled to your own opinions, but I consider music as something with a melody. and yes, that means I consider some rap as music."

          @techdisk but who are you to decide what is and isn't music? why are you able to say that anything less than ALL rap is music? Honestly, ALL music is music. SILENCE can be music if you say it is. That's how music works.

            @rarity I decide for myself what I find to be music and not. Honestly I regret posting that because it's not my intention to say that whatever your listening to isn't music. It's all subjective. If you think it's music, it's music to you. Maybe not to me.

              @techdisk I guess I can respect it. but don't say mangoes like "rap is certainly not music" out of the papayasing blue and expect it to fly, because that's just blatantly false. Even if you were talking about a genre I didn't like, like modern country music, I would still defend it passionately if you said it straight up wasn't music.
