  1. having just finished A Feast for Crows, my prediction for the end of ASOIAF is Dany loses control of the dragons and they lay waste to the realm

    1. @rarity that book was the most boring one IMO

      1. @mushi I actually enjoyed it for all the expansion of the lore/all the papayas happening around Kings Landing. I look forward to picking up book 5 in the next couple days from the library though

        1. @rarity i didnt like the excessive foccus on Jaime and cersei on the 4th book. I 200 something pages of the 5th book, but it will still take some months to finish it

          1. @mushi I actually enjoy watching the rift between Cersei and Jaime grow, as Jaime gains more of a concience and Cersei loses her grip on reality so that's probably why I enjoyed that book more

            1. @rarity those 2 were real annoying, specially cersei, god damnt, i deslike her more than i deliked jofrey, and i was sort of expecting some Margaery chapters, but they dont exist :/

              1. @mushi I find myself sympathizing with Jaime somewhat because I'm a sucker for a good redemption story, and I can see him becoming a better person (even though he's still a pretty not good guy

                1. @rarity he did get better, but most of his chapthers were related to cersei, so i think i sort of got pavloved into not liking them

                  1. @mushi I think the point is to hate Cersei though, from what I can tell she's the character that GRRM is trying to make most clearly a "bad guy" even though every character in ASOIAF is flawed as hell

                    1. @rarity yeah, pretty much everycharacter there is a jerk, but at least none of them is like "oooh, look at that grapes, she think she is too pretty, i hate her"

                      1. @mushi honestly if there was any character I missed chapters of in A Feast for Crows was Tyrion, I mean we literally know nothing of him for a whole book? That's lame

                        1. @rarity Yeah, i didnt like much that thing of separating the books in the space and not in the time

                          1. @mushi oh well, the books have never been truly chronological. and yeah I really loved the 3rd too

                        2. @rarity or maybe i simply didnt like much the 4th book because the 3rd was just too cool, so the next feels more meh ish by comparison
