      @clayinthecarpet Dude, I don't know if what you have is damascus steel. Folding steel in the Japanese style is very different from Damascus style, and I have literally never seen Damascus steel without the distinctive coloring.

      @clayinthecarpet also since it's carbon steel make sure to treat it with the proper oils to prevent deterioration
