@mushi I typically use a lubricant made from mineral oil, calcium, and zinc oxide:

@m14brony that is the problem, about 50% of the 40 millons of tons of lubricants prodduced annually in the world is lost and tha tis a hell of an environmental problem since mineral based stuff are not biodegradable

@mushi I use this for most things http://static2.agroterra.net/media/catalog/product/cache/3/image/800x800/9df78eab33525d08d6e5fb8d27136e95/2/8/aceite-multiusos-3-en-1-gotero-100ml-3101047___288867479021510.jpg then motor oil for the car, and molykote for high performance lubrication.

@mushi Someone on a gun-related forum once mentioned he lubricated an AK with olive oil. :P

@m14brony no, that is the worst thing he can do, the pure vegetal oil oxidates way too easily for one to use it as a lubricant

@mushi I'll let that guy or girl continue do that with vegetable oil. When it comes to my gun hobby, I will stick with mil-spec stuff. ;)

@m14brony the guy probably has to clean the gun more oftem than people who dont do it

@mushi It wouldn't surprise me. :P
