  1. Personally I would just bury it in a bunch of folders. I prefer the windows folder, because when you do a search, it doesn't look there (not indexed either).

    1. @renovatedkitchen Personally I use a triple encrypted hidden truecrypt partition.

      1. @ceruleanspark Back when I had my toughbook, everything was hardware encrypted. (Forget the make of the encrypting chip) However, it did make it slightly slower.

      2. @ceruleanspark But for hiding ponies from parents/others, all you really need is a folder buried deep somewhere as no external source is attempting to infiltrate and find that

          1. @purplephish20 "derpyshy @renovatedkitchen They look like ghosts :o Well, I would like to have a GIGANTIC mlp-folder on my 1TB external harddrive, but not have it show up if my dad looks on it, but I don't wanna go into the control-panel every time i want to see it :/"

        2. @renovatedkitchen Unless you're in serious danger as a result, the best way is to not hide ponies at all.

          1. @ceruleanspark Or pop them on a mem stick, with a decryption key on another.

            1. @renovatedkitchen Truecrypt will allow you to use a piece of hardware as a physical decryption key, so you could just /make/ the second stick your decryption key

                1. @renovatedkitchen The keys to restore the root DNS servers are stored on physical artifacts that have been sent to 7 keepers around the world. In the event of a catastrophic DNS failure, they have to make a lord of the rings style epic journey to find eachother and restart the system.
