  1. So, yeah. I'm at a loss. Anyone have a good idea for a name for a sort of weird, anti-magic, corrupting force that spread across the land? Something created by a neglect for magic, and growth of industrialism. ..Yes, this is for my fanfic.

    1. @binary Antimagic has a decent ring to it, actually.

      1. @earflaps Kind of. I don't think it has the sort of idea I'm going for. I can't really imagine a forest that was turned into a desolate wasteland by "antimagic". It needs some sort of intimidating name..

        1. @binary I'd suggest something which has some sort of reference to Diesal or Petroleum. If that doesn't work, Levium is a name I used a while back for an anti-gravity material in a RP to permit the use of Skyships.

          1. @ickus Yeah, that was what I was thinking. Especially since a lot of the setting has to do with the fact that the skies/land have been darkened from ash and smog from factories and stuff. Hrm..

      1. @ickus I like this, it has the feel I'm going for, but I still don't know if it's what I want to go with. It's kind of a mouthful. Hrm..

        1. @binary how about Interitum? it's Latin for destruction.
