Wrapped up my wife's computer with the exception of the webcam. Only nonfree software installed are WiFi drivers, libdvdcss, and Chrome so far. She'll use a lot of nonfree web stuff but this is a great start. Gnome 3 has been a lot of fun to use. I'm amazed at how modern a Debian system can look at feel. I'm so used to a tiling wm or a very utilitarian xfce. I'm also surprised at how well an "old" macbook functions. It'll be even snappier once the RAM upgrade arrives in the mail. I love recycling old computers, especially if it means I get to replace massive parts of it with Free Software.
