@katiekats @gameragodzilla AKA the game that is basically the reason why their fanbase deludes themselves that Planetary Annihilation wasn't trash. Once you've established that reputation, people don't easily give it up.

@maiyannah I played like half a campaign of Planetary Annihilation and uninstalled it.

@nerthos It's insultingly incomplete. And then they went and tried to charge people for the "totes complete honest" game with a rerelease called Titans that basically just added another unit type and no actual content beyond that.

@maiyannah I found the fact that 75% of the commander units were sold separately insulting enough, and then the game itself I could just win consistently building a few long range missiles near the enemy base.

@maiyannah @katiekats @gameragodzilla overwatch will never live up to FPS snobbery but damned if I'm not having fun with a few buddies in the Quick Play queue. I'm too old to care about The One True FPS.
Also I'll be glad in a few years when all the new FPSes are stealing ideas from Overwatch, like the PotG/commend system. There's nothing as satisfying as wrecking publics and they're compelled to rewatch you beat their asses from your perspective. :)
It's definitely more of a casual FPS though, designed for complete idiots to pick up and start playing. I'm just glad that Blizzard made a new IP for once instead of jerking off over their Big Three all the time. (Warcraft the movie I'm looking at you) -
@eris If you like that kind of thing, you'd probably enjoy Super Monday Night Combat.

@eris Though it does suffer from that kind of thing where the community of people still playing it are ridiculously good.
