i just want to find a nice medium between normal life and monkhood where i can help others

@nerthos my very vague "plan" is to find a decent paying job where i dont have to worry too much (physical labor for example) and write religious texts in my spare time
i've considered homelessness, but i believe that would be too stressful -
@delores Well, there's always the option of working for roof and food somewhere. Have a deposit or whatever you guys call it to store your stuff, and help out at a church or refugee home or whatever in exchange for a room to live in and basic services. Your plan sounds decent though.

@nerthos yes i was planning on working for roof and food, although ironically these days the things you need to separate yourself from the physical require you to be more inside of it. for example, i want to be vegan for spiritual reasons yet its near impossible to be vegan if you dont have a house and a well stocked kitchen which would require a job and etc
plus most people that work for roof are illegals which will gladly work for scraps, so it would be tough finding a job like that.
on the bright side i've started one novel. although i worry that im not educated enough on the topic to write about it and i cant experiment with the topic in my current state -
