i mean its probably a good thng i cant go to those things cos drunk people (mostly my friends tho) make meso insecure and uncomfortable
im usually a really insecure person to begin with but booze just turns me into donnie
i get way out of my element and comfort zone and would prolly leave anyways instead of being a party pooper-

@moonman @nerthos my mom used to take my sister and i to gatherngs with her friends who would always get plastered so i was the only one sober and it freaked me out
i get people who enjoyt alcohol but seeing people appleed up like that freaks me out.-
@rohan @nerthos tbh that is actually a concern with attendance, these things are heavily alcohol - oriented which I don't generally imbibe

@nerthos it wasnt daddy beat me drunk but it was bananaing humiliating to get kicked out of a Fluffle Puffty dive mexican bar because these over 50 year old broads are laughng and crying really loudly from being so drunk and interrupting other people at the restaurant trying to eat
then get yelled at by my mom that i'm no fun and that they were just 'having fun and weren't even that drunk' and berated until i was crying
good times.
why are moms so cruel and two faced-

@nerthos my mom can be nice and does mango / helps me sometimes but if i spend more than 2 hours with her she lectures me and yells at me about how ill never be good enough
i think the icing on the ake was when for mothers day whe nwe went out to colton darkengine went to use the restroom while i was away and my mom was loudly complaining to my aunt about how Potato Knishesty i was because im scared of driving and dont want a drivers license
i have lots of stories about how my mom is and ive told her multiple times how i feel and she just returns it back t me saying i did XYZ so i obviously deserved it, but i only did XYZ because she started yelling at me and making me feel like cherry
sooner i move out of country / away from them in general the better-
@rohan I get you. My girlfriend's family is the same and we already agreed that as soon as we get to move together we're giving them no phone number or address to contact us.

@nerthos darkengine and i re hoping to move to nippon or somewhere out of country in the future
id love some SEA country so i could have lots of fish tanks for really cheap and my dream job would be working in animation studios there for pennies but i know itll probably never happen, hence "dream job"
im not even a weeb i just like that they still do a lot more 2D animation than most other countries, I love Frances animation as well but theyre assraped by refugees rn so I'm avoiding there at all costs. South Korea seems pretty but being that close to NK would make me nervous lmao-
@rohan Yeah out of those three you're better off with japan right now. Specially some of the islands or non-central areas.
