It's interesting to me how who campaigned for Remain on Twitter is an expert on why Leave people voted the way they did. If they really were so enlightened about that decision they wouldn't be so divorced from reality, and they would be much better at winning people over. But they weren't, were they?

@maiyannah I have read some honest intelligent explanations from Remains for why they were voting remain, and I appreciate that. I post UKIP memes sometimes as a joke but they're a pretty terrible party on a lot of things even if you're pro-brexit.

@moonman Literally every Remain post I have read on Twitter is about how the other side is 1, stupid, 2. racist, or 3. both.

@maiyannah I'm pretty sick of the "anybody to the right of Lenin is a racist fascist and they are plotting to come for us so I'm picking up a brick right now" crowd but I think even people that articulate that stupid position have explained positive reasons for Remain.
That said I don't think many have come to terms with how the policies they pushed led directly to the rightward shift and increase in nationalism in their own countries, these things didn't magically happen for no reason. It's real easy to just blame it on "lying and propaganda by demagogues" and not think about it though.

Well, I think he's been given a bit too much attention in this. He won't be the one deciding how this goes. It'll be the new conservative leader, unless we have another vote on the horizon to decide again.-
@sim @moonman The problem being,that just as one asshole (Cameron) is decapitated,another asshole will appear in the shape of Boris(The Fat Pig) Johnson.
Cameron,Johnson,and that entire Bullingdon boy,elitist Eaton pack of Fluffle Puffwits are the PROBLEM.Nothing short of putting them up against a wall,and cherrying shooting them.all For they have caused irreparable harm to the entire country.
