I really really wish my day job didnt basically necessitate Windows, but you better believe that where I can be, I'll be gaming on Linux.  Windows just rubs me up all the wrong ways lately.  Before it was mostly an ideological thing, free software vs proprietary.  Nowadays it's a matter of self-preservation in many cases, given just how much of your personal information it exposes, and how utterly insecure it is.

    1. @maiyannah I'm no longer assuming anything about Microsoft. Every time I think that they've dug to new final depths of scumbaggery, they pull out another shovel. The switch to cumulative updates on 7/8.1 was a genuine shocker to me. I never imagined that they'd fundamentally change how updates were delivered for an OS, in the middle of that OS's lifescycle, for the first time ever. And it's all so that they can backport their telemetry grape onto those people who specifically chose not to upgrade to 10.
