  1. I'm going to have to look for a pay-as-you go "MiFi" hotspot. I have a few GB / month available on my phone, but it is hard to know when I'm about to accrue extra charges. I'd rather have a separate hotspot that turns off once its prepaid data is used up.

    1. Yes, I know, I can use #, but it depends on the # At some, # is an extra charge (and then they limit speed and amount of data, so very much not worth paying for). In others, they may have zero-price access, but with a single access point in the center, with intermittent service to more distant rooms.

    2. So I bought a prepaid #, but most of the time in the places I'm staying, cell coverage is so poor that it won't connect or it connects only at exceedingly slow speeds. # (whether # or the occasionally available Ethernet port) is usually hideously bad, even before the # connects.
