@maiyannah I'd love it if Amon Amarth released a growl-free version of their discography. I like most of their work but it'd be substantially better with clear vocals

@nerthos The newer albums are much better in this regard and also just in terms of mastering, but I agree the old ones could us a do-over.

@nerthos For the clean stuff I prefer Iced Earth. Reaping Stone has been a longtime favourite of mine ever since the release of Something Wicked This Way Comes.

@maiyannah For some reason I've never managed to enjoy Iced Earth too much, even though I should considering the genre.

@nerthos After their third album they changed singers and its like night and day for me, topical to your remark about Amon Amarth.
