An aside: Never, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, trust the word of a therapist about any mental disorder alone. I spent a couple years undoing the damage those lot caused in many a life. Unskilled medical practice is never a good idea, but we somehow see a lot of it in psych because the scars caused by malpractice or ignorance of an unskilled practitioner are not visible and sometimes not obvious.

For that matter considering that someone with a gender studies degree can major in psych now and assorted other university bollocks, I wouldn't trust a new psychologist these days ever. In short, never trust someone who isn't a MD with medical issues.
