        @takepapayaakenji currently, transaction fees for Bitcoin are ten cents, makes using a pure colored coin unviable. I'm messing around with Ethereum as it makes handling private currency with a wallet easy, but unfortunately transaction costs are still around 3-5 cents. when I bring this up with people, I inevitably get redirected to blockchain-pinned sidechains, which defeat the purpose of avoiding a centralized issuer/clearinghouse. If I'm gonna go that direction then why not just build it into GS and avoid 99% of the complexity.  !cryptocurrency
