Pleb-tier. https://social.heldscal.la/attachment/158725-
@lambadalambda but you get cool hardware with it! If it's easy to install homebrew games on them, I might get one and make a game for it since I've looked into NES homebrew before.
-
@shpuld probably impossible to add stuff if they haven't just put an SD card inside.
-
@lambadalambda I guess I'll stick to PSP then :--------)
-
@shpuld 3DS and Vita are wide open these days, too.
-
@lambadalambda I think the vita homebrew came far too late and I don't know what sony will do to to stump it in the future, the 3ds just doesn't interest me too much.
-
@shpuld I got a flash card for the SNES, maybe I should make something for that.
-
@lambadalambda sounds like an #epic idea, snes homebrew is interesting to me, seems harder than nes ofc, another one I would love to check out is ps1
-
@shpuld The SNES flash cards have interesting features because the good ones have an FPGA inside, so you can do stuff like play video / streaming audio on the snes.

@shpuld @lambadalambda You ever use PPSSPP? The two PSP God of War games look amazing in HD.
-
@dolus @lambadalambda oh hell yeah, PPSSPP is the best emulator I've used, especially as a tool for homebrew development, testing engine changes is so much better when you don't have to transfer files via USB on the device, not to mention the absolutely awesome graphics debugger it has.
-
@shpuld @lambadalambda Personally, it's my 3rd most used emulator. After Dolphin and Mednafen's PS1 core.

@shpuld The NES controller is ON POINT. Feels exactly like a real one.
