  1. Not including the domain when mentioning someone on GS is like seven-digit dialing in North America. You never know who you're going to get.

    It's less than an issue when replying, of course, unless there are username collisions.

    2. @takemangoakenji I think it was a mistake in hindsight. But I expect it was done that way for two reasons:
      (1) Most people were on # at the time; and
      (2) It was more familiar to people who had used # before they tried #

      I'd like it if a future version of GS always displayed expanded webbies ( user @ domain ) instead of shortened names.
