@nerthos Honestly, if I wasn't a server admin, I'd just set something up so the instance was filtered and I didn't have to look at it, because with the exception of a few specific users, every other time Mastodon comes up, it's always a bunch of bullapple drama that serves no purpose and is just people there being loud and obnoxious morons.

@nerthos Part of the admin hat is wading through all that Potato Knishes to make sure your userbase don't get unduly affected by it though, like that scrum a couple months back where a bunch of mastodon kiwis piled on Sim and a few people from my instance who defended Sim, though.

@maiyannah Yeah, I know, used to be guild master for a huge guild in wow years ago and it involved a lot of it. Then for a while I was a moderator here and it wasn't much different, specially with the site's penchant for drama back then.
