@strypey & given #AU's tradition of picking up the worst ideas from #NZ and running with them we'll be on steam locos by next year. Take that #China! If you don't want our coal, we'll just jolly well burn it ourselves!

@mjd what can we do about it? Green tech researchers and advocates do a great job but sometimes it feels like we're batcaveing into the wind

@strypey As you observed, a big win would be preserving/reintroducing the green tech that's nearly a century old. Visited family last year; my auntie was marveling at the fact that they're laying new tram lines in Sydney 50 years after she watched them being ripped out.
