   Would it likely get more followers with a name and ID change anyway, i don't think i buy that but newcomers might get interested sooner or later.

      @rupe The only way to get more followers is to have conversations with people that show you as an amicable person. People will then subscribe on their own. There is however no advantage to having more people following you past more chances to talk so don't worry about it.
