@cyberpotato @shpbot it's a lot of fun tho, a lot of >artificial difficulty due to randomized monsters but if you play in coop with limited lives, having monsters change between each attempt is cool

@shpuld @shpbot Monsters are mostly decent but it can have the really FrankerZing stupid effect of not getting decent guns and ending up going against a BFG-spamming spider mastermind with only a shotgun.

@cyberpotato @shpbot in my experience you got good guns fairly often from enemies to deal with harder maps even with pistol+shotgun start after restart
the legendary add-on is a bit, had to disable it when it was making too many attempts impossible-
@shpuld @shpbot I've had runs where the best I got was the quad shotgun, which is great but you're not going to do well against the biggest stuff with just that.
Legendary is a good idea in theory but in practice you mostly end up with insanely quick normal enemies who one hit you from max health and armor with a single ball of a souped up plasma rifle.-
@cyberpotato quad shotgun is nice but hex is where it's at, not sure if the maps you were playing weren't just optimal for it, it's clearly not a mod that will play well with every wad. maps that don't give you weapons and don't spawn zombies are quite painful

@shpuld Map is also pretty neat if you're into non-euclidean mangoery and getting places by flipping logic upside-down sometimes.
