This just makes it the obvious go-to subject to make jokes about, specially if there's stuff like really obvious drag queens (like a few days back) or that bit in Total Recall or something.
Also on the other end of things there's taking stuff like talking about traps as that, which happens a fair bit now, specially with people looking to be offended.
