      1. @strypey In # URL path aliases (if used) are like a file name. A node ID is like referencing a file by hard disk block/sector. No good if you migrate your file to another drive, or your site to another CMS or non-trivial # upgrade.

        1. @mjd permalinks independent of hosting setup (incl. CMS) are a Good Thing TM. More important and realistic for group projects though.
