@abigpony The new DS game. Pokemon Conquest. Set in the "Ransei" region (literally warring-states era Japan), and allegedly contemporaneous with the main line games.

@abigpony Yes. I think someone literally says "Pokemon aren't tools of war!" in Gold/Silver/Crystal. That said, it's a very civilised war that takes the form of simplified isometric pokemon battles.

@ceruleanspark Well most of them held back on opinions on it outside of the "using them for war" thing, but then none of them necessarily said it was BAD per se, just not really good.
