@clacke exactly. The main benefit of #GIT workflow over existing #MediaWiki workflow is that nobody can delete my version of my work.
@clacke so if I spend time on edits and especially on new pages, even if they don't end up part of canonical #Wikipedia, they're never lost
@clacke I can continue to develop my text and references and argue for their inclusion in #Wikipedia, and/ or I can use them elsewhere.
