  1. I really have to ask who was so incompetent at managing their inventory space that required Mass Effect Andromeda to double the inventory size in a patch.

Even now after I beat the game and upgraded my preferred abilities to max, I still am barely over the original minimum, let alone the upgraded sizes.

    1. @gameragodzilla @katiekats and I had this discussion a few times when we were playijng through.

      1. @maiyannah @katiekats Yeah same. The inventory space was the last thing I upgraded because I had literally no use for it.

Andromeda might be fairly far from what you'd classically expect as an RPG, but, it's still an RPG, as Bioware makes. The idea that people bought it and then struggled with inventory management, which is in a ton of games nowadays, nearly all RPGs both 'classic' and further removed have it, is a bit ridiculous.

          1. @katiekats @gameragodzilla And you genuinely have to like, never sell or scrap or craft ANYTHING, to run out of space at the original cap, let alone the new one.

you could scrap everything from the inventory screen too (and should cos crafting gets much stronger stuff)

so yeah they'd have to be there, look at a screen full of stuff they could -scrap there and then- and go "cherrying stupid game I've run out of room"

and this is one of the many reasons that people had stupid thoughts on Andromeda

          2. @katiekats @maiyannah @gameragodzilla I'm pretty sure that comes from people who aren't at all used to RPGs and probably bought Andromeda because it was "progressive"

Doubt that was that large an audience tbh, even those types cherry on Andromeda when it came out. It was something that both 'sides' could agree on (even if that was wrong and fueled by silly hatred)

              1. @katiekats @maiyannah @gameragodzilla Yeah but how many people could realistically have bad issues with inventory?

Don't think anyone -honestly- did, is my point. I think it was just "another badly argued reason we can grape on Andromeda" rather than an actual complaint from people who just weren't good. I think they knew how to solve the issue, just didn't cos, why would they, more ammunition to attack the game.

            2. @nerthos @maiyannah @katiekats Buncha scrubs, those guys are.

Literally the only bit of inventory management I did in any significant capacity was removing redundancies. So same weapons, same armor, same attachments etc. And that was enough to keep within the original limit. I've only overshot that limit now that I'm just keeping every unique gun I come across.

              1. @gameragodzilla @katiekats @nerthos Less inventory management in that game then Human Revolution and yet no one had issues with DX:HR did they?

                1. @maiyannah @katiekats @nerthos Exactly. Or Prey, for that matter as mentioned in one of my general posts
