    # Council chamber has been occupied by the people.  There is much dissent in the city, over the running and financing of a road renewal program. The program involves chopping down thousands of healthy trees.  Sheffield has (had?) a reputation of being one of the greenest cities in the #  Also the contractual arrangements around the program are opaque and no allowed to be shared with the people !!!! ???  Which is another cause of anger.
