        @madflavors I have a number of friends who live and were working in Vancouver last night when riots broke out over the stupid hockey game. So I spent most of the evening trying to contact them and make sure everyone was accounted for and safe.

            @scribus It did in the end, thankfully. It was just emotionally draining, and to be honest, I've never been so disgusted at fans of hockey. Like of all the things you could destroy your city over. Pictures of downtown Vancouver last night looked like Libya.

        @madflavors Hence why I wasn't on last night. There was too much to keep tabs on. Everyone turned out fine; a few people I used to work with were trapped in London Drugs because rioters smashed in the front of the store and looted, so they had to lock themselves in the back until it was safe.
