      @techdisk42 Well this dude was like, "Yo be in my competition to win some loot, yo." So you're like, "Aight." Then you win and he's like, "JK!" And you get thrown into the tundra and you're like, "Da **** dewd wtf man not cool yo you be dead, broski." And the someone (Prolly the guardian from the first game) Is like, "Yo you be sick mad fighting skillz yo, we need you to kill that dude and stop 'The Warrior' from being released and Handsome Jack (The guy who duped you) taking control of The Warrior and we all get pwnd mmkay bro?" So you're like, "K." And then stuff happens and you find out Handsome Jack actually claimed to be the heroes from the first game so you mean the vault hunters from the first game and stuff happens yeah.

      @techdisk42 It certainly does have one, but to say anything more than that you're a vault (no, not that kind) hunter would spoil the rather fun experience of how the game itself gradually lays out the story. It's no award-winning story, for sure, but it's easily good enough to support the gameplay, which is where most of the fun is in Borderlands.
