@ceruleanspark There isnt any real sound difference between FLAC and ALAC is there? I just have to go with ALAC because FLAC isnt ipod/itunes compatible

@captainpurplephish20 They're both lossless, so both will sound identical to the uncompressed audio. This also means both can be transcoded to the other with no loss of quality, so as long as you [i]actually have[/i] (or can get) a conversion tool, either should be fine for you.

@cabinboybitshift Great, thats been worrying me for quite a while, I buy all music as ALAC, and any CDs I rip into itunes In make sure its on that setting as well. I can really tell the difference
