I wish I could disable Emergency Alerts of certain varieties on my phone. Amber alerts for a region that's literally half a days drive away aren't really of interest to me and that seems to be a trend lately.

Also, the part of me from when I wore a badge worries: if you over-use these systems, people are just going to ignore them, and then when there really is an emergency that affects them or they can aid with, they're not going to be listening. "Boy who cried wolf"
