@8bit This is actually a pretty tough question. The biggest Nostalgia factor for me has Terranigma, but Chrono Trigger and FF3/6 really are a tough competition and I can't really decite between those three...

@8bit tales of series is not popular at all, maybe that is why half of the series is japanese only. And legend of mana is great

@8bit tales of phantasia is the first title of the series, originally for SNES, but it has remakes to PSX, GBA and NDS

@8bit i played the sbes version, it is japanese only, but it has translations all over the internet

@8bit I think that Chrono Trigger lighted many flames in RPGs - you have combination attacks, an alien very similar to Jenova, a rather open part (kinda like in FF6) an heavy symbolism most people miss...

@8bit i bought a pirate Tales of the abyss, i paid R$ 10 (about 5 dolars), and i bought an original tales of vesperia, i paid R$145 (a few more than 70 dollars) and it was a cheap one

@8bit I really liked the idea of Jenova - and the fact that it is not entirely clear if she is in control or Sephiroth is. I love when RPGs make you think :)

@8bit My understanding is that Sephiroth is controlling Jenova even though he is unconscious, but his desires and his emotions are manipulated by Jenova.

@8bit Nah, it is acutally pretty simple. Seph gets Jenova cells,these do not only give him dat power but also alter his feelings and what he desires. So he gets deluded ad starts his plan und uses his connection to Jenova to control her as well as the other clones.

@8bit No, the film didn't give much information at all. Crisis Core did help a bit understanding how Jenova Cells work. But still, I still am not sure I am correct :3
