Start a blog! Don't put your most important ideas directly into ( #corpocentric ) #socnets. Post them in your own blog, then link them on social sites.

Also, make sure your blog has #RSS and #Atom feeds! Let interested people know (in your social posts) that the most reliable way to know when you post something new on your blog is to install a feed reader and add your blog's feed to it. Otherwise, if they aren't looking at their #Twitter / #Facebook stream when you post (or if yours is one of the 60+% of posts that that network will hide from your contacts' streams), they won't see your post or even know it happened.
