@thehighlander @tekkdan i use to just listen to fanfic but iv learned thanks to the fanfic Allegrezza you can get the most out of them by reading them yourself than listening to them.

@xvinylscratchx tht's aside from what I'm saying. I'm saying that you will get a better understanding of how to write stuff by reading stuff. And by reading stuff I mean good, professional published stuff. And not terrible stuff, but New York Times Bestseller stuff. They're on that list for a reason. You read lots of fiction, you get a good grasp on writing styles, tone, voice, perspective, etc.

@thehighlander Sorry I was busy typing and didn't notice your fanfic until now. I'll take a look at it. Looks at page Holy crap, that's your fanfic? Looks like you did a good job with it, I'll be sure to give it a shot later on, even though you already have lots of positive influence on it, not to say I wouldn't read it anyway, but I would still like to give my opinion and support on it. :)

@xvinylscratchx Just curious, would it make someone who has no idea about MLP cry if they read through the whole thing? That would be hilarious if I got a friend to read it and they cry afterwards, especially if they aren't into that kind of stuff.

@tekkdan Probably not. A lot of the emotional attachment depends on the reader already liking Rainbow Dash and being able to sympathize with a guy whole likes MLP.

@xvinylscratchx I have the exact same problem! It's hard for me to get the image of my story in text since the readers not gonna know what your thinking. It would help if I had the time to actually sit down and try to type one out though. I just lose interest even though I would really like to create a fanfic.
