One thing I will give to Macs, they know how to make a lasting piece of hardware. I know back when I worked freelance for an editing corp. They all had 5 year old macs running AVID Media Composer 3.3. They ran like a dream...... I still hate Macs.

@widget Well I am saying from my experience. I never had a problem with them when it comes to lasting long. Sure they gave me problems, but I got over it.
