@humanbean Not really. Holiday season is always kind of boring for me. They're family holidays, and I'm not really a family guy. Bought lots of explosives though.

@humanbean They do until you cut ties with the family and start spending them in whichever way you want, at least for me. Here the traddition is to shoot fireworks in christmas and new year.

@humanbean It had a meaning at one point. Don't ask me what though. I generally think of the meaning of holidays at random times, completely unrelated to date or which is the nearest one.
