@ceruleanspark game freak thinks lots of things are clever. Those game freak, freak game people. What I want to see is a (stock) fire Pokemon that becomes fire/water type

@renovatedkitchen What I think would actually be really clever is if the starters all gained a second type that inverted their weaknesses, so the grass starter would be strong against the fire one, and so on and so forth. It'd be awesome. You pick fire, your rival picks grass, you think "Haha! I have the upper hand", then when they reach their second evolutions, they all gain their secondary types and you're back to the way things have always been, but for a few glorious hours, you'd think you've finally gotten one over on your rival.

@ceruleanspark that wouldn't be too bad. It would make it more interesting for the casual players, like myself. But how would that work exactly?
