        1. @miloth I've not been up to much. Day off, just relaxing. What did you install that broke your sound, or do you know?

Thursday, 14-Jul-11 00:12:36 UTC from web
          1. @drewdle Realtek High Definition audio driver.

              1. @drewdle What do you mean?

Thursday, 14-Jul-11 00:18:32 UTC from web
                1. @miloth System Restore doesn't usually work on drivers, just programs. So its a case of manually going in by hand and deleting the driver. Does the sound card show up in Device Manager?

                  1. @drewdle yes, I will try and mess around and see If I can succeed at something.

                2. @miloth I would go and remove the sound card in DM, restart the computer, and ignore any request to "Install Software for New Hardware" (i.e. the sound card) until you download an older version from the interwebs. I'm afraid beyond that I can't help much. But I hope it works out for you.
