@dowie Whiteboxes in business = No no. Unless the software atop them is designed for a "cluster of unreliable commodity hardware" situation.
@ddevine not sure how you arrived at that conclusion. I understand the need for a warranty in business, but that's another thing.
@dowie service contracts are important for quick-turnaround of broken hardware. Getting people back to work ASAP is worth the money.
@ddevine definitely! But I was contesting the claim that own-built computing hardware is less reliable than OEM boxes, != my experience :)
