  1. I made sure I destroyed House as soon as possible so humanity had almost no chance of ever recovering and repeating history all over again.

    1. @wafers You suck.

      1. @nerthos Excuse me for feeling the compulsion to exterminate the root of the world's pain.

        1. @wafers Wiping out the species does nothing but delaying the events. Eventually another species will do the same, and who says it won't be worse?

          1. @nerthos Or that species could witness the destruction we have wrought, and bring it upon themselves to prevent another unatural cataclysmic event.

            1. @wafers Seems you're just not cut to be a messiah.

              1. @nerthos Which is why I hate the karma system.

                1. @wafers The karma system is easy to ignore.

        2. @wafers House tried to /stop/ the war, and when he couldn't do that, he started playing a ludicrously long term game at massive personal cost to ensure the survival of the species, and to steward it towards untold success. How exactly is he the root of the worlds pain?

          1. @ceruleanspark When House falls from the hands of extremists, spuer mutants, or anything for that matter, the rest of the humans will have no capable leader. This renders House's endeavors fruitless and his cause would be just another campfire story for raiders.

            1. @wafers Why would House fall to any of those? The Lucky 38 is hardened against physical intrusion. It is implied that even something like Highwater-Trousers or Archemedes II would fail to penetrate. As a side note, how does "Dies to being killed" make him any less of a fit leader? He's got more experience and a sharper mind than any of the present alternatives.

            2. @wafers House survived nuclear bombardment. With his army of securitrons he could wipe out the mojave. He won't fall.
