    I think having ADHD meds prescribed has helped me keep from going insane in more ways than just hyperactivity. I would probably be extremely depressed if I couldn't focus and didn't know why.

        @5ofclubs I actually have an answer! If someone without ADHD takes the meds, they actually become hyper. Its actually one of the ways they test for ADHD. If you take it and calm down, you have it. If you get more hyper, you don't.
