  1. Attention !androidbronies swiftkey x is amazon's free app of the day. And after my first 10 seconds of using it, it told me i was already typing 20% faster. And that was before I could look at it nicely. Heh... Just noticed that it's picking up on phrases like 20% cooler in the autocomplete... Which does not annoy like the standard one.

        1. @shoutingryan How DO I get to the Amazon app store? I have an Amazon MP3 Store and app for the store itself, but no Amazon Marketplace. I'm gonna assume that marketplace can be accessed via an app.

    2. @shoutingryan Well. I just attempted to try swiftkey, but the installer is broken. None of the buttons work. Tried switching to it manually, but that just makes it constantly pop up messages saying "You must complete the install process". It vibrates whenever I press anything which is really annoying, and it lags about two seconds after presing a letter before it inserts. That was *not* worth giving Amazon all my personal information (including cell phone number, credit card, and shipping address, wtf?!) and spending 30 minutes downloading. (And the Amazon app store refuses to download anything if I have wifi enabled. Stupid.)

      1. @starshine well that would be called bad luck. And it also seems you didn't follow the instructions. Step 1 downloads your language. Step 2 has you change a setting on your phone AND SAYS YOU MUST PRESS BACK so you can set its own setting. I think it vibrates less than the default, but I seen an option to turn that off. Either way, you should keep the Amazon app store so you can get the next big name apps that show up free. (They launched Plants vs Zombies and Peggle both for free.)

        1. @shoutingryan I very much did attempt to follow the instructions. Step 2 and below did NOTHING. Click on the button? Nothing. I could sit there all day pushing that "Step 2" button and I would still be looking at the setup screen. I never really cared much for playing games on a phone anyway, it's just too cramped and small to be comfortable. (really, games in general just aren't my thing, for that matter)

          1. @starshine how big is your screen? Sounds small.

            1. @shoutingryan HTC Hero, but what does screen size have to do with the app not functioning?

              1. @starshine well, the model could be your problem... Individual app-phone combinations... I only asked about screen size because you said you couldn't imagine playing games on a phone. My Thunderbolt has a one that I think is bigger than psp.

                1. @shoutingryan No, I just don't like small screens. It hurts my eyes to try to focus for any length of time, it hurts my neck and shoulders because I have to sit weird to hold and see it comfortably, and it's annoying. I also have a GBA in a drawer that I regret purchasing.

                  1. @starshine well they still give free stuff daily. You're Bound to have a non-game that you like.

                    1. @shoutingryan I guess. I'm not uninstalling their app store, but it's kind of silly I had to go to such great lengths to download something free... which didn't work. #

                      1. @starshine I know what it feels like... I ordered a mac mini from them once, along with a keyboard and $30 hdmi adapter, had to cancel the computer because when I hit "change credit card" it errored out and didn't tell me it charged my step dads card. I have the keyboard but never got the adapter. Made me skeptical of the app store. (was the first time ordering through them)
