@tdunn79 XD I completely agree with you. Xbox is pretty crappy when it comes to their online service. I'd happily take PSN / PSN+ over XBL. And if rumors about the 720 pan out to what they're saying, I'll be abandoning ship and getting a PS4. :p

@tdunn79 eh. I could deal with that, I guess. I heard the 720 is going to be online-only, if you're not connected to the internet, you can't play single player games at all either, all games will have single-use codes to allow you to play the game at all (a la any EA game), and because of that they're going to destroy the used game industry.

@nerthos eh. If they require verification codes like Battlefield 3 does for example, there really won't be a way to pirate games, at least on console. And that's also what the online-only is for. They want it to be connected at all times so they can constantly check to make sure you're using a valid copy of their game.

@flamingpandaomg It'll just be a matter of welding a chip to it to allow offline mode, and playing pirated games. The more oppresive the restrictions become, the more majestic cracking becomes.

@nerthos eh. Regardless, I'll probably be hopping off the xbox bandwagon and getting on the playstation wagon. They've made the PS4 so much more attractive than the 720. Microsoft kinda <!@#$>ed themselves this time.

@nerthos the ONLY thing keeping me from being on PC only, is because of the cost. I can't afford to keep upgrading parts on my PC to keep up with games. And I sure as hell can't afford to buy super nice parts to keep me from needing to upgrade every other year. :\
