    what I wonder, why they say the the numbers, but the '0' is "oh" like the letter..

      @aloriality It'd break the "flow" to say "Zero", as it'd be the only two-syllable number in there, and "naught" sounds weird.

          @aloriality I'll admit I saw the movie first, but I was entranced enough by the music to track down a copy of the musical. (I thought Crowes voice somewhat lacking.)

                  @aloriality This is the version I found. Quast is essentially the perfect Javert. I much prefer the way Valjean directly threatens Javert in the musical. I can't imagine why they cut that from the movie.

                      @aloriality You know what stood out to me as especially stupid about the movie? The fact that they had to put in a "neck snap" sound effect at the end of Javert's suicide. Somehow that stood out to me even above Crowe's singing.

                          @aloriality Yes. Into the Seine. I just throught the sound effect was unnecessary. It just felt like someone saying HE IS DEAD DO YOU GET IT?

                                @ceruleanspark I sure as hell wouldn't. And ya know I was first off scared about Hugh Jackman as Valjean, I have seen some of his stuff and he seemed, to me, to wussy to be Valjean

                                  @aloriality I didn't think he was too bad. I prefer Colm Wilkinson now, but Jackman didn't stand out as being awful.
